The Unanswered Call

I called to say I love you;

And if that didn't get to you, I could probably walk a mile or two.

Or maybe it's time to use that rusty bike and that faded map,

and if I'd get lost along the way; maybe that's okay,

maybe then I would see who'd help.

Or if I'd fail to arrive at the door of your heart,

if I'd need to change the aim of my ride,

a little more than maybe, I'd be quite alright.

I called to say I love you;

I grew a ride stronger, discovered who'd help, learned to read the map.
