What Have We?

The photopoetry below is created as part of the One Shot Wednesday on One Stop Poetry, a place where poets, writers and artists meet.

It has also been nominated as part of The Celebrate Poet of Summer in 2011 Awards.

What does the night have without the stars?
What does the sea reflect without the moonlight?
What does the ocean sing without waves of blue?
And what does a day have without you?

Darkness.

  1. While reading I thought your questions were all going to be rhetorical until the bold one word answer, which made the ending more powerful.
